It’s a happy household of the Chowdhury Family. Indra and Reena are married for a while, whose main problem is Indra’s forgetful nature. Indra’s cousin brother Aryan Chowdhury is staying with them to attend the government exam for a job. Apparently, he is very studious and a loovie doovie character, who is extremely caring when it comes to the sister-in-law.
And this peaceful household soon enters into a commotion with the arrival of Reena’s junior sister Trina. Aryan who constantly shows his cold shoulder to the girl, is actually secretly in love with this famous lady for quite some time. Trina’s curiosity grows to the summit thinking about how someone can ignore her charm. The clash and collisions continue, till that night of load shedding. This is basically the amalgamation of three stories of Ronojoy Baksi, the protagonist’s life. At each phase he had certain amount of experience which had changed his life forever.
First story is - Ei Chutki- about a downtrodden balloon seller little girl who meets the photo journo Rono is his way to work and later he takes responsibility of educating a kid.
Second story is – Eh Mai which is again the journey of the mother who had faced huge objection in her life to get her own identity. So it’s a practical aspect on our societal condition.
Third story is – You & I- It is completely a love story with having similar ups and downs in any relationship but the only difference is that it’s a same sex love story.
Lorai is a 2020 Bengali social message –drama short movie starring Neel Bhattacharya, Tathagata Chaudhuri, Amrita Mallick and others.
The story revolves around Nandini, a lady with rare qualities of beauty with brains. She is engrossed in her own world singing a song of Tagore’s Raktakarabi to her friends over a video call. Her husband Raj is on the other hand a corporate guy trying to concentrate in his work from home mode in this lockdown phase.
Their utopian world crumbles as they encounter four people respectively. First, the elder brother of Nandini who in turn of events is bound to sell fruits in his locality to feed the family member. Then they encounter Sabjiwala, Malati Masi’s son and finally Jahangir –da Housekeeper. Both realise they are helpless in front of this widely spreading pandemic driven situation.
Will Nandini fight back? Do we see Raj to support her or not? What is the path ahead?

It is a story about love, trust and sacrifice. Barun Chanda aka Mrinal Bose is the narrator of the story. The story unfolds as he launches his book at STORY, Junction Mall- Durgapur.
Two young people - DJ (Suvajit Kar) and Adwitiya (Amrita Mallick) fell in love with each other at a very young age. They were too different from each other in character, what brought them together was love and trust. But one mistake of them broke their relationship. Love was left behind empty-handed.
After 15 long year they again met at the Reunion of their college. Adwitiya came to know about the sacrifice DJ made to save her life and career. But then there were no place to mend their relation. The thing only they could retain was the glimpse of love (the endless love) they still had.
Main plot- A writer submerged in his world of creativity. His PRO wife returns home from office asks what he is writing. He tells her that he wrote a story about a deaf and dumb boy
Sub plot- The disabled boy Babin goes out to walk with his mother in the morning. She talks to the mother of a school going girl Prity everyday, while the girl has a special bonding with the boy. They have a special handshake every time they meet.
Babin has an elder brother and boudi, they loves him very much. But Porosh (elder brother) always complains that Maa loves Babin more.

One night Babin is thirsty, he goes to fetch some water, when he finds the light of the brothers room is turned on. He peeks to find the brother and his wife making love. He runs to his room and shivers.
Days go by, like every morning he goes to walk with Maa. Boudi enters his room for dusting and catch holds of the pictures of ‘Alingon’ drawn by Babin. She feels ashamed and shows to the brother, they decide to shift to other place.
Maa returns home with Babin, when brother had a big fight with Maa on the issue.
That morning the elder brother and his wife leave their house.
Babin falls sick in pain ,Maa panicks and rushes to the doctor. Prity meet her at the gate. She comes to know that Babin is sick since his brother left. Prity comes to meet Babin. She comes close to check the fever. She looks into the eyes and they kiss.

SubPlot- The girl goes back home with the drawing book of Babin. The teacher father of the girl finds it and appreciates it. He soon arranges an exhibition for Babin….where everyone praises, now even Porosh and his wife comes there and hugs him. Babin now walks away from the crowd as he finds Prity calling him. They smile and handshakes in their special way.
What defines Ananya is her simplicity and down to earth nature. She has an eye for perfection and clearly a creative soul. We work as a team, balancing each other perfectly at time of pressure and crisis. During the film projects I have seen her grow bit by bit. It's her sheer dedication that gets her going. She has her own language of expression rather her own style of story telling. She is a friend and it's a pleasure working with her. Ananya Bhanja Chaudhuri.... The first time I met her, I found her to be very sweet, bubly, intelligent yet strict and disciplined. She is the epitome of todays feminism. Has modern outlook with a conservative approach. She's quite an interesting character. Dramatic, Emotional, Sophisticated, tendency to throw tantrums, but she reins them in and rides her life like a pro. I had a chance to work with her closely. As a director, she likes to keep things simple. Works hard. Listens to everyone and gives space. Yet does not succumbs. Has a clear mind on what she needs to do and how she wants it to happen.
